Interesting link someone put up on a thread of comments discussing the need for Black Breastfeeding Week. In this thread there were lots of privileged white people questioning the need for such a week, making it all about them. We do need this week and we need to support all moms. Breastfeeding is hard enough without having other external factors making it harder for some. Thankfully my family and culture supports breastfeeding, otherwise I might have given up already.
