Irish Stout Beef Pot Pie Submitted by Rosemary (MN) HQ Resident Chef Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak, cubed 1 Tbsp. butter 1 cup diced yellow onions 2 cups diced potatoes 1 jar Irish Stout™ Slow Cooker Sauce 12 oz. jar beef gravy 4 cups frozen mixed vegetables 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1 puff pastry sheet 1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp. water for egg wash 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Directions Preheat oven to 400°. Sauté beef cubes in butter until browned. Add onions and potatoes; sauté until onions are translucent. Add sauce and beef gravy; heat through. Mix in frozen vegetables and cream. Pour into a greased Tastefully Simple Baker or other 9 x 13 casserole dish. Top with puff pastry; brush on egg wash. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown.
