Is this the future of photography? This article is from April 2014 so there may be some more recent articles on the Lytro Illum. I have been involved with photography since the mid 70s when I took my first photography class in middle school. My grandfather was a photographer and gave me his book on photography when I became interested in it. I have seen technology come, go and progress. I think this is here to stay and will get more impressive as work is done to make the hardware better. My mind has been trying to wrap around this technology since I first heard about it last summer. Imagine... Capturing light instead of images and processing that light to form an image from the scene you photographed. Want have some fun?
