Isnt God amazing??? One year ago our world was turned upside down... about ten times over. Many of you may not know but after the stem cell transplant, Mom became very ill and septic (bacterial and fungal infection in her bloodstream). The infections were extremely serious and the ICU doctors basically told us they had done all they could do medically. She was on about seven antibiotics and three antifungals which over the course of a few days (due to an overload of fluid) caused kidney failure. She went on dialysis and gained 70 pounds of fluid in a few days. All at the same time her breathing and mental state declined causing them to intubate her. During intubation she aspirated and coded. This was the worst day of my life. But just as one of my favorite songs goes, when Hes four days late, Hes still right on time. We are thankful for your prayers and if you are not a believer of Jesus Christ, hopefully the miracle of Debbie Mange will show you Gods grace, love, and provide hope to you as well. At Moms appointment today at UAB, she was told that shes in a complete REMISSION!!! Even the doctors were surprised at her test results. She will continue to stay on Velcade (chemotherapy) for maintenance. She did not have a bone marrow biopsy but received five shots of various immunizations. Its been a crazy year but one that will never be forgotten. Blessings to you and your family! You may be fighting a battle of fear Youve cried to the Lord I need You now! But He has not appeared. Friend dont be discouraged Cause Hes still the same. Hell soon be here and Hell roll back the stone and call out your name! When Hes four days late and all hope is gone Lord we dont understand why Youve waited so long. But His way is Gods way its not yours or mine And isnt it great when Hes four days late- Hes still on time! Oh my God its great when Hes four days late- Hes still on time!!!
