It has been a looooooong day!! Got to Barnes-Jewish Hospital at 8am and didnt get home until 5:40pm. UGH!!!! I had an regular Echocardiogram then they did a Bubble Test; Chest x-ray; Pulmonary Function Tests---those were fun--NOT and she drew Blood Gases; Then I had a VQ Scan--kind of like a combination of a Nuclear Stress Test and a Cat Scan; then I had my appointment with my new Pulmonologist Lung Specialist...she ordered a crap load of blood work and a EKG. I will be admitted Monday to Barnes...they are going to start off with a Lasix IV to quickly get rid of the fluid in my feet and ankles, then an Endoscopy, then another Cardiac Cath. She thinks I may have ASD--Atrial Septral Disorder---basically a hole in my heart. So we will see exactly what is wrong and repair it. There was so much more...too much to put on here. I have been on 2 liters of oxygen per minute, she bumped me up to 6 to 10 liters.
