It is ironic that innumerable reports are made of police brutality - TopicsExpress

It is ironic that innumerable reports are made of police brutality and these reports fall on deaf ears. Very many of these reports can be substantiated by adequate evidence, oftentimes too, even video recordings. However, given the affiliation and pigmentation of the people who make these reports nothing is done about them. You hear nothing of police being arrested and charged, let alone jailed for these matters. If this has indeed happened to Mr. Khan then like every other citizen he deserves the protection of the law which must be made manifest in justice not only being done but being seen to be done. However, justice should not be cockeyed. The law cannot favour some while it prejudices others. Police ought not be given free reign to brutalise people who have no voice while they are restrained from brutalising those who are part of a choir. How can this beautiful country of ours be called a democracy by those who are at the helm of the hypocrisy perpetrated in so many forms on so many innocent people?
