It is ok to have a favorite on a team but to make it seem as if - TopicsExpress

It is ok to have a favorite on a team but to make it seem as if your favorite is the main/only reason the TEAM will/can advance is not thinking with logic. Could Brazil have gotten to the World Cup finals without Neymar? Yes. Could Neymar have gotten to the World Cup without the team members? No. Could the Jamaican 4X100m team have won an Olympic/World Championship gold without Usain Bolt? Yes. Could Usain Bolt have won an Olympic/World Championship gold in the 4X100m relay by himself? No. Could San Antonio Spurs have gotten to the finals of the NBA without Tim Duncan? Yes. Could Tim Duncan have gotten to the NBA finals without the team members? No. Do you see where this is going? Great! People, please go ahead and praise your favorite player/athlete but remember they could NEVER be who/where they are without the team. All the teams who reached the World Cup qualifications, worked hard to get there. All the teams who tried to reach the qualifications, worked hard. To be selfish, condemning and mean to other players/athletes is just wrong and unsportsmanlike. Just try to work and sacrifice as they did to get to where they did, maybe (hopefully) you become a nicer person. There are ways to express your like/approval of a player/athlete/team without being condemning or mean about it. Try it, you may like the way you feel. Even better, sit in the stands, in a club/restaurant and listen to what people have to say about these players/athletes and ask yourself if you would like it if they were your loved ones.
