It is so nice to have nurse friends (especially ones who owe you a favor). Thank you, Brenda Gregg Smith, for stopping by and showing us how to stab me in the stomach :). That wasnt nearly as bad as I was anticipating it to be. The biggest problem we will have from here on out is trying to find our reading glasses so that we can see the lines on the syringe :). For those who dont know (which are probably most of you), I have been battling pretty severe pain and inflammation since August. At the end of October I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis :(. One month of oral methotrexate had not made much of a difference, so my rheumatologist decided to go with a higher dose injection (which I take once a week). We are hoping the injections will get the inflammation under control and do so in a quick like fashion :).
