It is thrilling to sing the music of composers like Brahms, - TopicsExpress

It is thrilling to sing the music of composers like Brahms, Bruckner, and Vaughn Williams (which we will perform at our spring concert in Carnegie Hall) but there is also something really special about singing a piece by a living composer who can come to our rehearsal and give us feedback. Tom Cipullo did that tonight and told us When I wrote this piece I wrote it to challenge you. And Credo for a Secular City is difficult to sing, but it is also easy to like. He said he wanted to thrill the audience with the big sound of our 150 person choir. If you are interested in hearing this great new piece as well as music by the aforementioned wonderful composers, let me know and I will get you a great choir discount so you can come and hear this first ever public performance of the piece.
