It looks like the consensus is that all three babies should go to the rescue center. My high school bud Jerry was the only dissenter. And remembering how cool he was in high school, I almost decided that 1 out of 15 was right and that I should keep Rocket (BTW if you have not seen Guardians of the Universe, you should. Then you would understand why it is hard to part with Rocket). I checked into a rescue center today and was a little comforted by the fact they seem to be totally focused on helping critters like mine adapt to living in the wild. So... like every parent whose child leaves the nest, I will lament the departure of mine. Or maybe I will be grateful I dont get anymore mosquite bites when I go out to feed them. This may be one of those fleeting moments in life that we generally fail to recognize until it is long past us. I hope not.
