Its Friday and its sunny so after work or college (or if youre the lead singer a nice bike ride through the countryside) why not... ...get changed ...eat outdoors ...as the sun begins to drop get into Blackpool town centre ...walk along the sea front dodging stags and hens tottering from side to side ...stop for an alfresco drink at the Beach Bar ...turn right at North Pier ...walk up past the counting house (sh**in there} ...walk past the empty building that used to be Rumours on your left and waste ground that used to be Yates on your right ...walk past a church where people used to pray on your left ...you will come to what used to be The Station and then used to be O Neills and is now Molloys ...go inside and youll see us either setting up for our gig or if youre a little late in full swing ...feel free to drink and dance or perhaps bash one of our tambourines as there will be plenty spare tonight (weve been deserted by our regular kazoobibashers) ...afterwards head around the corner to queen street and visit Roxys (shes a man whos really a woman) ...we will meet you on the balcony after weve packed away ...finish the night with some karaoke in the galleon bar and finally Adz is treating everyone still standing to kebabs. (no chilli sauce thanks as tomorrow weve got another gig at The Waterloo) Proper night out that.
