Its a crazy city, DC that is. Only in Washington could the term Redskins be offensive but its OK for a Vice President to publicly call a group of Americans by a very vulgar term and not find that offensive. Im one of the ancients I guess, but I would still be very embarrassed explaining the term Joe Biden used to degrade folks in the Tea Party to my mother or daughter or many of my former students here on facebook. I dont care what party anyone belongs to...I respect the office of the President and Vice President, and I expect those elected to those offices to respect the office as well through their words and posturing. Sorry Mr. BIden...but your vulgar terminology was, in you own words A f--king big deal because it shows just how easy it has become to ridicule and belittle those citizens with whom we disagree. It isnt that what was said was so awful, its the callousness with which it was said.
