Its become such a rarity nowadays to find somebody to fall in love with. People seem and have forgotten how beautiful it is to grow old with someone, to build and witnesses someones progression and to conquer obstacles as a team rather then doing it alone. To wake up and your favorite look of the day after 20 years fly by is your woman with no make up on, to learn to love your mans smelly morning breath and nasty gas. To build a family, to run and jump on him when you see two lines and those two lines mean you created a tiny heartbeat that will add more happiness to the life you are building as man and woman, as equals. To put up the Christmas tree year after year and the feeling of joy never gets old. To listen to one another after a bad day of work. To laugh and learn more about ONE person everyday. Guess its safe to say theres not enough of a thrill in that for them, those people. Seems more and more common each day. People in relationships and thinking what the hell am I doing I dont want to be with this person for the next 50 years much less five minutes. They loose that thrill they thrive for.. Theres no thrill in comfortability and knowing someone like the back of your hand? I guess thats why I can say I have an old soul. I dont need to go out every weekend, switch it up with other people, different person in bed each night. I dont see the thrill in that. What I see is and want is something real, someone so genuine that they are worth lasting a lifetime with. Someone whos willing to invest the time and effort instead of forfeiting when times get rough. I understand its become nearly impossible nowadays to give your heart and soul to someone. Its more dangerous then anything, but I guess thats where I can say I am one of the rare ones, the old souls.
