Its fall and high school athletes are in the midst of their sports season. Often when we think about optimizing their performance we focus on what they need to eat before and during their actual workouts. This article focuses on fueling while teenagers are in school to prepare for their best workout after school. Even more important than fueling during a sport, the hours kids spend during a day in school play a larger role in providing energy to fuel their keen minds.
