Its late at night, and Im awake and playing with my Under The Roses Lenormand deck. After my interview with Kendra Hurteau, author of the deck, my excitement and intrigue for this little 36 card oracle deck was reignited. I began to go over the exercises she explained in the interview (you can view it here: youtu.be/gqQtSdb_hUo). After I wrote out my list of keywords for each card, I decided to play with three card combinations. I didnt have a certain topic in mind. I simply allowed the cards to relay any messages that they felt I needed to hear. On a personal note, I will admit that I have been feeling overwhelmed lately. I put A LOT of work into Guiding Echoes, and I am a one gal show. So personal readings, managing my calendar, booking guests for the Spiritual Awareness show; recording, editing and transcribing my wide arrange of videos, writing blogs, writing chapters of my books at a time, answering emails and phone calls and scheduling tweets are all carried out by me. Im a one woman show. And thats only my business side! This doesnt include all the errands I run (laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, etc.) in my day to day life. So yeah, I work very hard, and it has been depressing to see business slow down as much as it has, especially with all of the energy Ive put into this small, humble, spiritually minded business. And today, while playing with this Under The Roses Lenormand deck, I found compassion, encouragement and beautiful promises all within these small 3 card layouts. The cards acknowledged my challenges and was very specific about a few of them. Towards the end of my 3 card combos, I pulled The Clouds, The Lilies, and The Garden. These three cards reminded me that with the storm comes the rain, and from the rain comes the small bundles of flowers, and from the small flowers comes an abundance of plush, beautiful vegetation. I felt like these three cards were reminding me that all of this work is paying off, but it is necessary to go through the storms first. The storms bring balance and strengthens your character. It prepares you for what is to come, and through its wind and violent storms, it gives you the nutrients you need to grow. When taking on a large endeavor, its important to remember that success will seem small at first. But each success leads to more success, and even failures lead to success as well. The key is to keep pushing through them, and eventually, you will have a plush garden that is the result of both the storms of life, and your dedicated efforts to making your dream come true. It was an encouraging message from the Universe to me, and now I am sharing it with you. The storms in YOUR life are giving you what you need to survive, although it may not seem like it right now. So keep your eyes on the goal, and keep hope alive in your heart. Have faith that with time, energy, hard work and dedication, you too can be surrounded by the abundant garden sewn by the seeds of your dreams.
