Its my last day at Local 12; bittersweet. Many viewers have asked about my family, the kids that were the result of my very obvious on-air pregnancies and our one adoption. Now that its the last day on Local 12, and with their permission, heres where they stand. (Forgive my bragginess, please.) Our oldest played a little football in college, until an injury sidelined him. He graduated with a fine arts degree in Graphic Design, and now lives in Baltimore. He works for Under Armour, in what used to be a P and G soap plant. We are so proud of the fine young man Jake has become; talented, kind, hard working, and good to his parents! Our daughter is an honor student and athlete at the University of Louisville. As a freshman she made the travel team, and got to compete at the NCAAs this year. More important, she made academic honors both semesters. Like her brother before her, Maddy was president of her junior and senior class in high school. She is beautiful INSIDE and out; funny, sarcastic (where did she get that?), and sweet. She makes good choices and makes us proud every day. Our youngest is a sophomore in high school, and the most brave child I know. He came to us with some delays, but worked very hard, and is doing SO well now; good grades, great attitude, loving nature. Gus is a diver, and a pretty darn good one. His greatest attritbute is his tenacity. EVERYONE is Gus friend. As we tell him often; he was part of Gods plan to complete our family and were so grateful for him. Okay... longest post ever. Thanks for letting me brag. Most of all, thank you for allowing me into your homes on a daily basis. The kindness extended by our loyal viewers is second to none. Fondly, Kit
