Its that time of year again, folks. Yup. The time when I ram some awesome Led Zeppelin down your eardrums sizzling your brains and getting you to wonder as to what the hell is going on. Its Mr. Robert Plants Birthday tomorrow, and as Im going to be busy working on my second book (which I always do in the morning hours before heading for work in order to actually wrap my head around the fact that I MUST go to work), Ive decided I shall blister your ears and tickle your brain with some fantastic elements of Zeppelin. Now... Robert is a Leo... and, well, some of the pictures in this video sort of fit the mold of a lion with that mane of his. I never knew this song was by Led Zeppelin until I became a fan in 1979 and brought home their album Physical Graffiti when I heard this song my mouth dropped. Led Zeppelin does THIS SONG????? Needless to say I was in heaven. I have loved this song since first hearing it on the radio waaaayyyyyyy back when, but never knew the name of the group. It was inspired by one of Page and Plants trips to Morocco, and you can tell due to the flavor of its beat and guitar riff. Roberts lyrics for this song has been placed on par with Stairway..., and in fact he believes this is the song that should dethrone Stairway... as the best Zeppelin song ever. Enjoy.
