Its with great sadness that Im posting this... Last night, regrettably we had to say goodbye to our lil guy, David, our Mini Schnauzer. The vet believes he had a blood vessel in his brain to rupture...something like a human stroke and aneurism. When Steven took the pups out of the kennel late yesterday morning, David immediately began walking in a flanking circle and falling over...as if he was chasing his tail and got dizzy. But he wasnt...there wasnt a game being played. Steven immediately called me then made an appointment...giving me time to return home from work. Getting there, we were immediately taken to the exam room. During the exam, our Vet looked for symptoms of treatable ailments, but determined his symptoms were grave. She said David was suffering and would only worsen with seizures and loss of bodily functions. Hearing that, crushed us all because we knew the day we were trying to prepare for had come... David, born January 30, 2000; slept September 11, 2014...now and forevermore...
