Ive been asked by one of my Facebook friends to investigate the right to farm amendment that is on the ballot August 5th. I have already studied that proposed amendment to the Missouri Constitution. There have been numerous articles and op-ed pieces in both The Kansas City Star and The Examiner warning people to vote No on it. If the ballot language was more accurate and less Orwellian, it would be called The Right of Corporate Farms to do Whatever They Want Amendment. Im voting No on Amendment One and I encourage all Missourians to do the same. And while youre at it, if you live in a district with a choice of candidates in the Democratic primary, be sure to do some investigating of your own. In the 29th District theres a guy named Winston Apple running. I hear hes really good and has an excellent chance of unseating a Republican incumbent.
