Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager (with JDE Experience) Duration: 6 - 12 Months Location: Ft. Worth Start: ASAP Pay Rate/Hr: $65 - $75 We currently have a 6-12 month contract opportunity with our direct client, a global leader in the Pharmaceutical space, for a Senior IT Project Manager with JDE experience, located in located in Fort Worth, Texas. JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance and support of JDE applications including providing high level expertise, technical support and consultation to the business and IT management. Collect new user requirements, plan and implement application changes by involving all relevant parties (e.g. IT Infrastructure Services, other Service Delivery Groups, QA and Business) Implement application enhancements and modifications as necessary to meet business needs. Deliver all required system documentation as necessary. Reviews of all application controls to insure compliance with the business as usual process. Provide project oversight and reporting for requested projects and tasks including all aspects of system design, coding and system delivery. Ability to work in a complex IT organization that includes many diverse service providers including Infrastructure Services, Telecommunications & Network Services, Web Development & Support Services, Application Maintenance & Support vendors, Global Information Governance Management team, etc… Ability to understand and implement governance frameworks in the areas of change management, request management, configuration management, backup and recovery, security and license management and disaster recovery. REQUIRED SKILLS: 10-12 years of experience in IT including Project Management of projects, application management, support, and delivery Must have hands-on JDE experience and least full cycle JDE project implementation in the following areas: Inventory Management, BOM/Routing Management, Sales Order, Advanced Warehouse Management modules. Must have experience in a multi company shared environment, using multi-currency and intercompany transactions. Must have strong knowledge of the JDE Distribution/Logistics & Manufacturing database, and is able to provide configuration recommendations, report design and development, and lead the implementation. Intermediate/Expert level JDE experience in Finance and Manufacturing modules, with some base understanding of manufacturing costing is very helpful.
