Join us for a lecture on The Art of Papermaking in Italy and the U.S. this MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH @ 7PM On this evening, a panel discusses Italian papermaking history and tradition, and explores innovative forms of contemporary papermaking in both Italy and the United States. Panelists will include curators and scholars from the Library of Congress, artists, and Italian experts in the field. The Corcoran, together with the Library of Congress, the Museum of Paper and Watermark, and the Embassy of Italy, bring to light some of the mysteries of handmade paper art and craft.
