Just 3 days into the new term, and we have more good news to share! 1) The Chinese Calligraphy Club did very well in The 17th World Calligraphy Itinerant Grand Exhibition cum Competition 2013. Goh Chen Gang(12S32) and Liu Yiying(12S63) clinched the Gold Award, Leow Xiaohong(13S39) attained the Silver Award, while Duan Meixin(12S48) and Zhang Hailing(12S46) obtained the Merit Award! There will be an exhibition to showcase our local award winning pieces at The Ngee Ann Cultural Centre from 21 to 23 of Dec 2013. Do check it out! 2) Our Robotics Club team participated in the World Robocup 2013 Competition in Netherlands during the June holidays, and won the Best Presentation Award! There were 58 participating international teams, and only 4 awards were given out. The winning team from VJC consisted of Wu Jin Yi(13S42) , He Yu Xiang(13S45), Ma Jun Ting(13S49), Feng Shu Tong(13S52) and Zuo Xin Zhe(13S54). Congratulations Victorians, on a great job done :)
