Just because we are serving God doesnt mean that everything will be perfect in our lives. Sorry to have to tell you this ... but it wont. Life is daily filled with disappointments. People let us down ... friends and family let us down. Every time we think we have everything under control ... another let-down. However, I think that perhaps God is trying to teach us that we need to put our trust only in Him. Hes the only one that we can put all of our trust in, without being hurt. We may never know why these trials and disappointments come into our lives ... but we do know that He is holding us in the palm of His hand ... that He loves us unconditionally ... and He only wants whats best for us. We should hold on to Jesus and stay strong. Things will get better. It may be stormy now, but the rain wont last forever. Psalm 55:22 ... God is greater than the burdens that we are carrying. We are to cast our burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain us. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in the LORD with all our heart, and not to lean on our own understanding. Because, if we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He has promised that He will direct our paths. Take Him up on His promises.
