Just received word from a cousin Im close to in NY that an aunt of ours- one of my fathers older sisters, Amelia Myra (previously Amelia Kozak), our Aunt Millie, passed away today @ 90 years old in Brooklyn, NY. She was the last standing child of my grandparents from Ukraine. As my grandparents were, she was a very tough and enduring lady with one of the kindest & biggest hearts. To say she wore her heart on her sleeve for all family & loved us all is an understatement.... She always only thought & spoke of good in people; choosing only to remember the good in everyone, & the good & happy moments of life. Never did I see her get angry or raise her voice. ....Her life was rough from the moment she was born, in too many manners in which to recall - but she would NEVER want us to reflect upon that..... She didnt deserve the lot in life she was handed, but never resented any other human or God for any of her suffering. ... She was a good, sweet soul, whom I will always remember fondly.... May God now forever keep you in his hands from this day forward, Aunt Millie, & you suffer no more. RIP, sweet soul.
