It is a beautiful love poem. In Song of Songs, a woman sings her poem of love to a man. The man sing his poem of love back to the woman. Even their friends sings poems. Song of Songs shows what makes a good marriage. It is a beautiful picture of the love a husband and wife should hae. OUTLINE OF CONTENTS: The bride and the bridegroom – (1:1 – 2:7) The promise of her beloved – (2:8 – 3:5) In praise of the bride – (3:6 – 5:1) A troubling dream – (5:2 – 6:3) The bride’s beauty – (6:4 – 7:9) True love – (7:10 – 8:14)
