KULTURA launches ‘Crafts for a Cause’ Kultura has become synonymous with Filipino handicrafts and over the years, it has expanded its selections from whimsical pasalubong pieces to grandiose furniture and room accents as well as stunning Filipino wardrobe selections and hand-crafted accessories. To celebrate its success, Kultura launched Crafts for a Cause, the company’s way of giving back to the Filipino communities. Now on its fourth year, the campaign has helped several foundations. Crafts for a Cause began with 16 foundations and has grown to 25. Each group works with the urban poor and marginalized sectors from as far north as the Cordilleras to as far south as Basilan, with funds going into livelihood programs, education and community development.
