Kachipolopolo Francis 49 years of Independence still talking - TopicsExpress

Kachipolopolo Francis 49 years of Independence still talking about radio and TV issuance of Licenses to reach out to the entire nation. Michael and his Government will not deliver a People Centered Constitution. Strong indicators pointing out Michael has forgotten that state house is not a permanent resident but a transit point. At Church we usually sing twaisa fye mukutandala . This is not in Michael anymore. The recent revelations that Michael supports the stance taken by the previous Levy and RB government on the issuance of Licenses strongly entails deviation of the PF stance on the subject matter. People who have followed Zambian politics very well vividly remember how Michael made use of QFM, Yatsani, Chengelo, Phoenix and other private radio stations to sell his Manifesto and provide checks and balances. And using the above mentioned stations he managed to convince the Urban population. He had the challenge of reaching out and convince the rural communities because of coverage. Michael will not deliver the people center constitution because it paves way for the inclusion of the social and economic rights in the bill of rights, it paves way for the majority vote of 50% +1, it paves way for the appointment of ministers outside parliament, it paves way for the Mayor to be elected by electorate, it paves way for swearing of the president after 90 days so as to give room for petitions etc etc.... These provisions pointed out made the MMD Government fail to deliver because they wanted to safe guard their stay at the expense of citizens languishing in poverty. If Michael takes the positive stance of delivering and not safe guarding his stay he will be remembered of having meant well to Zambia and as always known as man of action this will add more value to his being man of action as he delivers this document after 49 years of independence. One thing to remember is that no matter how you safe guard time will always come for your exit. God gives and at the same time takes away. When shall we be blessed with leaders who the scripture cite in this 2 Timothy 4 6 8 9 (For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. [9] Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:). This is what Zambian elected leaders miss out on and am sure if we can have characters who aspire to deliver results and derive confidence/utility out of results and not defending wrongs in the hope of staying long which is impossible.
