Kansas City Police Hit Protestor with Car, Brutalize and Arrest Others On December 20th, 2014, activists from One Struggle KC organized a coordinated highway shutdown in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and victims of police brutality and murder. As the group was walking up the Highway ramp, one police officer started to hit a protestor with their vehicle, eventually getting out and arresting them. Shortly after, KCPD made a completely random attack on an activist (not even an arrest) and kicked him in the head. The video of the cop kicking the activist in the head was taken from far away, but its there and we have included a video confession from the cop responsible. Other unlawful arrests were made, including one or two random abductions from the sidewalk after people left the highway ramp. As more arrest and brutality videos come out, One Struggle KC will compile them. At least 7 people were arrested, and multiple arrestees reported harassment while in jail. Please stay tuned to One Struggle KC for a statement and summary.
