Keegan was a trooper at his appointment today, like usual! The nurses all go on and on about how good he is from the moment they access his port all the way through his infusions and when they go to de-access it. Thats our warrior :) As I have previously posted Keegan has not really been into eating much lately. If he does want food its usually something soft and cold. The doctor mentioned his drop in weight and had us meet with the clinic dietician. We brainstormed some ideas and she also gave us some pediasure samples to see if he will drink them. She said some children love them and some hate them. We hope Keegan loves them so he can begin to get the nutrients he so desperately needs. His counts have dropped quite a bit, but holding just above the neutropenic level, so that is good. Hoping he doesnt drop down over the next week or so after his chemo dose today. Only time will tell. Thanks for all of your prayers. We need them.
