Kevin Queeney - Gael Tribute Tonight Clinton won a very important league basketball game against a good Littleton basketball team. The kids did a lot of nice things at the right time and pulled-off a come from behind victory. But it was a short two minutes before the game that was most important and special to a lot of us. Head Coach Tony Gannon had made a special point to recognize our dear fiend Kevin Queeney who passed away yesterday after a good life as a man and a great life as a Dad. It went something like this: Clinton High School and the Clinton coaching staff would like to set aside the next few minutes to recognize a special friend - Kevin Queeney. Kevin - a Clinton High graduate and a big supporter of Clinton Athletics was the epitome of what being a Clinton Guy is and what being a Gael means. Living and fighting with illness much of his life he finally lost his last battle with Luekema yesterday morning. He lived a good life but most importantly was a very good father to his son Kellen. Kellen plays basketball for Clintons Middle school team. He also leaves a loving family including his brother in law David Vannase - long time Clinton Football and Track Coach and his wife Pam - Kevins sister. Kevin touched many lives - overcame several battles and won over many hearts along the way. He was a special guy and will be missed by us all. Please join us now in honoring Kevin by bowing your heads for a moment of silence.
