~♥ King is not sick but needs time for full recovery, doctor says ♥~ As waves of Thais in yellow shirts continue to flock into Siriraj hospital Friday morning to show their loyalty, love and concern for their beloved King after learning of todays cancellation of the public audience, Clinical Professor Dr Udom Kachintorn, dean of the Medical Faculty of Siriraj Hospital, assured the people that His Majesty did not fall sick as they were concerned about. In fact, he said, the team of doctors has examined His Majesty’s physical health again Thursday evening before the audience, and viewed that his physical health is not yet fully recovered after falling sick and having high temperature from intestinal inflammation a few weeks earlier. He said doctors have given medicinal cure for His Majesty’s intestinal inflammation but has ceased the medicinal treatment almost two weeks ago. His Majesty’s condition has improved gradually since then but is still under the recuperation period for full recovery, he said. He said His Majesty has strong intention for the audience but after the checkup, the team, however, recommended His Majesty to take a further 1-2 months for full recovery to regain the physical strength. He said full recovery for elderly patient is normal and necessary, otherwise the condition could deteriorate if resisted. Each time when an elderly patient falls sick, lots of strength will lose, and therefore need time for body to recover, he said. But he assured again that His Majesty did not fall sick, but needed full recovery.
