Kiwanis Club of Dansville Meeting: A community information meeting about the new Kiwanis Club of Dansville is scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at Dansville Public Library, 200 Main St. The Kiwanis Club of Dansville plans to meet on a regular basis at the library. The president is Doris Marsh & Club organizer is Ron Pollock. Some of the outreach the club will provide are “Kamp Kiwanis,” “Key Leader Training,” a training program on how to work with others; “Project Eliminate,” an effort to inoculate babies and mothers in Third World countries with a tetanus shot; and the creation of hand-knitted caps for newborns at Nicholas H. Noyes Hospital, Dansville.
