Kwara Facts We have got a laudable, courageous freedom fighter in Sen Saraki in kwara, not Hypocrites -Bolaji Abdullahi Our Reporter Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, One of the widely voted best former Minister of Sports Nigeria ever had, today took a swipe at his former boss and Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state who claim to be on a mission to free the state, declaring that “Kwara freedom resides in Sen. Bukola Saraki.” Mallam Abdullahi, who was talking at the popular Ile-Arugbo, the private residence of late Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, during a reception organized for him by the Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), therefore advised Kwara youths not to be deceived by the hypocritic clamour for ‘freedom’ as according to him, their redemption is solely In the leadership of Sen. Saraki. Although he did not specifically mention names, but party supporters who gathered at the reception venue did not allow the import of Mallam Bolaji’s assertion to be lost on them, as the mammoth crowd started cursing the president and PDP! Calling it all such of negative names. It was at this point spectators shouted thunderously, Sai Bukky, Sai Saraki, Sai Bolaji, APC for Kwara, Change!!! Olooye!!!! It should not be forgotten, President Jonathan maintained that the PDP remains the only party that can give the people of the state the freedom they desire when he visited kwara some weeks ago, saying: “If you are not in PDP you are not in politics, as it is only PDP that can guarantee your freedom in the State and the country at large. However, apparently replying Jonathan’s claim to freedom fighting, Mallam Abdullahi, who rationalized his assertion by his personal experience with Mr. Bukola Saraki, said he was a nobody before, until lifted by his benefactor. He said Saraki did not inquire into his family background before he gave him several challenging assignments, asking rhetorically if there could be any ‘freedom’ bigger than that? He assured Kwarans of his continual and spirited efforts towards making Kwara and Nigeria a better abode to dwell in wherever he finds himself in the future.. He used the opportunity to appreciate all loving fans who had stood by him and lauded his efforts which took Nigerian sports a step higher. He charged Kwarans to keep the faith and be men of valor in the fight for good governance in the Nation.
