LEAKY CEILING UPDATE! This is for those of you who have been praying and were concerned... IT took them till monday to even come look at the damage AFTER I had to ask why they hadnt... I told them I wanted them to check for mold. The owner said there wasnt any mold that fast... but that he would have a contractor come. So the contractor comes with the owner and manager... everyone acts scared of him. So they come in and tear down the bathroom ceiling over the shower and only the wall of the bathroom in the hall where the water was. BUT THEY DIDNT TOUCH THE CEILING where the water was pouring through the light. So I privately spoke to the contractor and I said.... Im truly concerned for the safety of my family and I dont know how much longer I will be here but I dont want my kids or any of us to become sick over mold. Then they left. I called the manager and asked him why the ceiling hadnt been touched in the hallway where a ton of water had been leaking.... contractor comes back to look... I share my concerns again.... NOW TODAY>>>>>> they are literally gutting the entire hallway, taking out the entire shower, bathroom ceiling, hallway and the hallway cabinets. So what if I had never spoken to the contractor or questioned them..... IN two years we may have been sitting in mold.... or the people that move here after us. It amazes me that people dont do a thorough job even seeing these little girls... what in the world.... Im glad I was persistent and that all of you were giving me advice!!! I still dont think we should be in here while they are doing all this work...
