LOCAL Full time Team Leader Materials Movement position at Navistar International Corp. in Springfield,OH DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Guide, assist and monitor the work team duties within their work teams. * Provide coaching and counseling whenever the need arises. * Implement process improvement plans. * Identify quality and safety concerns and provide systems for resolution and follow-up. * Develop and maintain efficient well-trained workforce. * Focus could be either in manufacturing/machining or assembly Responsibilities: Coordinate the activities of the linestocking and receiving personnel to insure adequate supply of production material to support the needs of the assembly departments. Communicate with the assembly team leaders on issues relating to low or excess stock conditions. Basic Requirements: * Bachelors Degree OR at least 4 years of Materials, Warehousing or Assembly supervision experience Qualifications * Ability to work overtime * Ability to work all shifts * General understanding of the following principles: Supply Chain Management, ERP (MRPH), Cycle Counting, TS 16949, Metrics Tracking, Root Cause Analysis * Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
