Ladies and Gentlemen: It is with GREAT PRIDE and MUCH ADMIRATION that I announce to you that my Uncle Dwight Conrad Reed was one of the 2014 WLKY Bell Awards Winners!!!...Below are some pictures that I swiped from my Aunt Charlotte and my cousin, Scott, and heres the link to the page: wlky/wlky-bell-award-recipients-announced/9787800 My Uncle Conrad is a dedicated member of Valley View Baptist Church and hes the type of guy that walks the talk...He provides hope and help for more people than I could even begin to count...He works tirelessly for our Homeless and I dont think that he can shut it off...Hes always at it and he makes miracles happen on a regular basis...The man is simply amazing. Ya know, I gotta be honest about something...When I was a kid, I didnt care too much for him...He was gruff, didnt laugh at our non-sense, and used to thump the backs of our heads when we would act up in the back row of Church...He was a Deacon and stood conveniently behind me and my cousins...One kid would make another one laugh...THUMP...Nine year olds dont like being thumped in the back of the skull...And, yes, they straighten up...lol Anyway, I just want to say that I hope that you see this, Uncle Conrad...I am VERY proud of who you are, and what you do, and I think that you turned out all right...lol...You deserve this night and I hope it was fantastic!!!...Oh, and THANKS for the thumps!
