Larry is listed as a 3 yo hound mix (looks labbie to me). He was adopted almost 3 years ago as a puppy and now has been returned due to his owners moving. This is what volunteer Gigi Gauthier had to say about him: "He is about 40 lbs. Looks a little chunky. He just sits quietly right up at the front of his kennel, waiting... until he hears me come in talking to the other doggies and giving out treats, then you hear him! He has a very distinctive howl to let me know he is there and wants some too! He seems to be good on the leash, he is cautious at first, but warms up fast. He was adopted as a puppy from the shelter and now returned. He is a calm boy low energy level and seems like he would be a good couch potato, he does not jump up on you, and I coaxed him to get up on the bench with me, but wanted help getting down! He is just a good loving dog! He was also non reactive to the other dogs in the kennel along with the other dogs Fiona had in the outdoor run outside.
