Last day in Florida at Universal Studios. Harry Potter ride was amazing but it was very weird chasing Daniel Radcliffe as he flew around on his broomstick in the air since I know him personally. A kind of Felini experience, I suppose. You could buy a Hogwarts magic wand outside the ride for only $35 each. People were buying them like they were $3.50. The park was nice and fun but it was hot and hard to find a place to rest to cool off and, really, forget about the food. Both Disney and Universal have only standard American diet stuff which I havent eaten in years. Burgers, hot dogs, ten tons of French fries, only Coke products. Some places serve chewy, overcooked black bean burgers, but only a few. Yes, chicken sandwiches and turkey burgers, but awful looking. Yes, a few sit-down restaurants with entrees that start at $28 a la carte. Once in a while you can buy an orange or an apple or find coffee, but if you go and you dont eat like that, bring your own food! The clothing was fun to see, also. Virtually all the men were in shorts and t-shirts. Most wore sneakers, some had hats. The women were more varied. Without exception, the Brazilians, who were there in multitudes, looked neat and well-dressed. The Americans looked like slobs who could care less what they had on as long as they were comfortable. Ah, America!
