Last month the RCA, Access Fund, and the USFS teamed up to perform trail work and facility maintenance at Rumney. The AAC also stopped in and held a Coffee With a Ranger program in the morning. We had a total of 50 different volunteers devote their time to the stewardship of Rumney during the three day period from 6/21 through 6/23. Total hours of volunteer labor definitely exceeded 200 and likely beyond. In addition to the trail work we hosted a BBQ, climbing community members stripped old and abandoned quickdraws at Monsters and they replaced anchor hardware at the Meadows. Additionally, Sterling Rope, Petzl and Evolv donated give-a-aways to volunteers and EMS offered their highly desired EMS discount bucks. Thank you!
