Leaving the healer sitting and enjoying her ale. I walk arounnd the wagon and found that one of the wheel had slipped its axle. An easy fix. Entering the forge, I gathered my tools. Hammer, lever, and a new bolt the size of a small childs fist. "This is a fine brew blacksmith" I heard as I exited the building. "Aye, the Brew Master know his business very well. Please fill your tankard if you wish." I replied as I moved toward the offending wheel. "Nay one cup of this brew is enough for me. Otherwise I might drive my poor pony off the path and find myself among fools and deamons." I nodded as I laid my tools on the drop at the wagon rear. Moving back too the forge I stopped just outside the doors and picked up two wooden horses. These would be used to hold the wagon leveled so that I could get at the wheel and repair it. The healer watched my work commenting on how strong I was as I lifted the rear right part of the wagon and with my foot pushed one of the horses under the bed of the wagon. I did the same on the other side. Removing the bolts on the wheel I noted that some how the carage bolt got bent. I removed it and examined it closely. Whom ever bolted these wheel use bog iron. I wouldhave to check each bolt. Otherwise the healer will have more problems with her wagon. She watch as I replaced the wheels bolts, all four of them. "And why do you work so hard on that one wheel?" She asked as she looked over my shoulder. " You move silently woman." I said as I looked to the new wheel setting. "Sometimes one must not be heard by those who seek to harm." She answered as she picked one of the bolts I had replaced. I acknowledged this fact and then explained what I had found. Moving to the oppsite wheel I found the same situation. Shaking my head as I began to remove the bolts from the wheel before me. As I had thought, all the wheels needed to be changed. Whom ever had built this needed a good flogging. This task took me took me the better part of the afternoon. When I finished, I took the offending bolts and tossed them into the scarp heap. I look towards the setting sun and said. "How far will you be traveling? "About another few leagues. " she answered as she too looked towards the setting sun. "Then tonight please be my guest. Supper is simple but filling. In the morning it will be safer to travel. " I sad as I lowered the wagon back on its wheels. They held. She agreed and removed some things from her eagon as I put her horse into the second stall. I watered her and gave her grain. My own beast enter the stable as I closed the stalls door latching it. "You behave, hear me? We have an night time guest." I said as I put fresh water and fodder into his own stall. That great beast snorted as he too entered his resting place. I exited the stable and walked around the forge. I found that my guest had already kindled a fire and had put on a kettle. I smiled and wondered if this was the pot needing repair,
