Posted by: Yaqub Islam islam10023 FIRST RULE : THE BEST GARMENT (7:26) O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of GODs signs, that they may take heed. This is the BASIC rule of DRESS CODE in the Quran. This is the first rule in WOMEN DRESS CODE in Islam (Submission) . What is inside your heart is more important for God that the dress you wear. The second rule can be found in 24:31. Here God orders the women to cover their bosoms whenever they dress up. First, let us review some crucial words that are always mentioned with this topic, namely Hijab and Khimar THE WORD HIJAB in the QURAN Hijab is the term used by many Muslims women to describe their head cover that may or may not include covering their face except their eyes, and sometimes covering also one eye. The Arabic word Hijab can be translated into veil or yashmak. Other meanings for the word Hijab include, screen, cover(ing), mantle, curtain, drapes, partition, division, divider. Can we find the word Hijab in the Quran?? The word Hijab appeared in the Quran 7 times, five of them as Hijab and two times as Hijaban, these are 7:46, 33:53, 38:32, 41:5, 42:51, 17:45 & 19:17. None of these Hijab words are used in the Quran in reference to what the traditional Muslims call today (Hijab) as a dress code for the Muslim woman. Hijab as it appears in the Quran has nothing to do with the Muslim Women dress code. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: While many Muslims call Hijab , an Islamic dress code, they completely ignore the fact that, Hijab as a dress code has nothing to do with Islam and nothing to do with QURAN. In reality Hijab is an old pre-Jewish tradition that infiltrated into the hadith books like many innovations that contaminated Islam through alleged Hadith and Sunna. The traditional Arabs, of all religions, Jews, Christians and Muslims used to wear Hijab, not because of Islam, but because of tradition. In certain areas of the world, men are the ones who wear the hijab while in others the women do. THE WORD KHIMAR in the QURAN: Khimar is an Arabic word that can be found in the Quran in 24:31 It is the word that the interpreters or translators use to claim that head cover is in the Quran. Khimar means, cover, any cover, a curtain is a Khimar, a dress is a Khimar, a table cloth that covers the top of a table is a Khimar, a blanket is a Khimar..etc. Most of the translators, obviously influenced by Hadith (fabrications) translate the word as VEIL or head cover, and thus mislead most people to believe that this verse is advocating the covering of the head. In 24:31 God is asking the women to use their cover (khimar)( being a dress, a coat, a shawl, a shirt, a blouse, a tie, a scarf . . . etc.) to cover their bosoms, not their heads or their hairs. If God so willed to order the women to cover their heads or their hair, nothing would have prevented Him from doing so. GOD does not run out of words. GOD does not forget. Those who see the head cover in this verse lost their focus of the verse. The verse is ordering the women to be sure to cover their upper chest. The verse does NOT order the women to cover their heads or hair. Even if you accept their interpretation of the word Khimar to mean head cover, the verse is not ordering the women to cover their head but to cover the opening of the chest in their dress. If God wills, He would have given the order clear, cover your heads, but He did NOT. God does not wait for a Scholar to put the correct words for Him! The first regulation of DRESS CODE for Muslim women is in 7:26, the second is in 24:31 and the third is in 33:59 O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall LENGTHEN their garments. Thus, they will be recognized and avoid being insulted. God is Forgiver, Most Merciful. In 33:59, God sets the other regulation for the dress code for the Muslim women during the prophet s life. Although the verse is talking to the prophet which means this regulation applies to the time of the prophet, just like the order in 49:2, the description fits the spirit of Islam (Submission in English), and can teach us a great deal. In this verse, God, DELIBERATELY, said, tell them, to lengthen their garments, and never said how long is long. God could have said tell them to lengthen their garments to their ankles or to their mid-calf or to their knees, but HE DID NOT. He did not, OUT OF HIS MERCY, not because HE FORGOT as God does not forget. God knows that we will be living in different communities and have different cultures and insists that the minor details of this dress code will be left for the people of every community to hammer for themselves. It is clear from the above verses that the DRESS CODE for the Muslim women (Submitters) according to the Quran is righteousness and modesty. God knows that this modesty will be understood differently in different communities and that is why He left it open to us to decide for ourselves. We have no obligation to follow but Gods rules, just as His messenger did all the time. Innovations and fabrications that added thousands of rules to the women dress code are nothing but idol-worship and should be refuse CONCLUSION: God, the Most Merciful, gave us three basic rules for the Dress Code for Women in Islam (Submission) , (1) The BEST garment is the garment of righteousness. (2) Whenever you dress , cover your chest (bosoms). (3) Lengthen your garment. Reply to sender . Reply to group . Reply via Web Post . All Messages (1) . Posted by: Yaqub Islam islam10023 Enmity towards Allah’s Friends The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah the Almighty has said, ‘Whosoever acts with enmity towards a closer servant of Mine (wali), I will indeed declare war against him.’” [Bukhari] A deceitful woman by the name of Arda bint Owais falsely accused Saeed bin Zaid (radi Allahu anhu) of taking over some land belonging to her. On this Saeed bin Zaid (radi Allahu anhu) prayed to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala), “If this woman is lying then destroy her eyes and grant her death in that very land.” Muhammad, the great-grandson of Umar (radi Allahu anhu), said that he saw this old woman and she had gone blind. She would feel her way along walls and would say that Saeed’s prayer against me has gotten me. The land regarding which she had made the false claim had a well in it. One day it so happened that as she was walking she fell into it and died and that well became her grave. [Mishkat] There are two sins for which Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) declares war on the offender. One is the consuming of Riba (interest) [Quran: Surah Baqarah, Ayat 279] and the other is enmity towards Allah’s friends. Reply to sender . Reply to group . Reply via Web Post . All Messages (1) . I will lead only good Muslims of the United States of America and my commitment is firstly to those descendants of slaves that are on a might journey and that journey is not over. So my commitment first is to them and then to all Muslims of the United States. I know this is surprising to you, disappoint to some of you, a relief for many of you good and bad, the good ones are relieved because you suffered, you know what I have been putting up with this community, struggling with it year after year and looking at the same old faces, never changing waiting for us to die. They are hanging around waiting on us to die and do they have anything prepared that they are going to give us better than what we have now? Or when you did do they have anything else better? They will be around here looking at the next leader waiting on him to die so let’s finish this ugly business, you are on your own. So let the public be aware and let the Muslims be aware that the ASM American Society of Muslims formally by all those other names going all the way back to the Nation of Islam, you are on your own. Do not say that I am your leader, I do not accept to be your leader. Those who fulfill, the covenant of Allah and break not the trust.) (21. And those who join that which Allah has commanded to be joined and fear their Lord, and dread the terrible reckoning. ) (22. And those who remain patient, seeking their Lords Face, perform the Salah, and spend out of that which We have bestowed on them, secretly and openly, and repel evil with good, for such there is a good end.) (23. `Adn Gardens, which they shall enter and (also) those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate (saying):) (24. Salamun `Alaykum (peace be upon you) for you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!&# 39;) Qualities of the Blessed Ones, which will lead to Paradise Allah states that those who have these good qualities, will earn the good, final home: victory and triumph in this life and the Hereafter, (Those who fulfill the covenant of Allah and break not the trust.) They are nothing like the hypocrites who when one of them makes a covenant, he breaks it; if he disputes, he is most quarrelsome; if he speaks, he lies; and if he is entrusted, he betrays his trust. Allah said next, (And those who join that which Allah has commanded to be joined) they are good to their relatives and do not sever the bond of kinship. They are also kind to the poor and the needy and generous in nature, (and fear their Lord), in what they do or do not do of actions and statements. They remember that Allah is watching during all of this and are afraid of His terrifying reckoning in the Hereafter. Therefore, all their affairs are on the straight path and correct, whether they are active or idle, and in all of their affairs, including those that affect others, (And those who remain patient, seeking their Lords Face,) They observe patience while staying away from sins and evil deeds, doing so while dedicating themselves to the service of their Lord the Exalted and Most Honored and seeking His pleasure and generous reward, (and perform the Salah), preserving its limits, times, bowing, prostration and humbleness, according to the established limits and rulings of the religion, (and spend out of that which We have bestowed on them,) They spend on those whom they are obliged to spend on them, such as their spouses, relatives and the poor and needy in general, (secretly and openly,) They spend during all conditions and times, whether during the night or the day, secretly and openly, (and repel evil with good) they resist evil with good conduct. When the people harm them they face their harm with good patience, forbearing, forgiveness and pardon. Allah said in another Ayah, (Repel (the evil) with one which is better, then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. But none is granted it except those who are patient - and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion in this world.)﴿41:34-35﴾ This is why Allah states here that those who have these good qualities, the blessed ones, will earn the final home, which He explained next, (`Adn Gardens), where, `Adn, indicates continuous residence; they will reside in the gardens of everlasting life. Allah said next, (and (also) those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring.) Allah will gather them with their loved ones, from among their fathers, family members and offspring, those who are righteous and deserve to enter Paradise, so that their eyes are comforted by seeing them. He will also elevate the grade of those who are lower, to the grades of those who are higher, a favor from Him out of His kindness, without decreasing the grade of those who are higher up (in Paradise). Allah said in another Ayah, (And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in faith: to them shall We join their offspring.) ﴿52:21﴾ Allah said next, (And angels shall enter unto them from every gate (saying): Salamun `Alaykum (peace be upon you) for you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!&# 39;) The angels will enter on them from every direction congratulating them for entering Paradise. The angels will welcome them with the Islamic greeting and commend them for earning Allahs closeness and rewards, as well as, being admitted into the Dwelling of Peace, neighbors to the honorable Messengers, the Prophets and the truthful believers. Imam Ahmad recorded that `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As, may Allah be pleased with them both, narrated that the Messenger of Allah said, (Do you know who among Allahs creation will enter Paradise first) They said, Allah and His Messenger have more knowledge.&# 39; He said, (The first among Allahs creation to enter Paradise are the poor emigrants (in Allahs cause) with whom the outposts (of the land) are secured and the various afflictions are warded off. One of them would die while his need is still in his chest, because he was unable to satisfy it himself. Allah will say to whom He will among His angels, Go to them and welcome them with the Salam.&# 39; The angels will say, We are the residence of Your heaven and the best of Your creation, do You command us to go to them and welcome them with the Salam&# 39; Allah will say, They are My servants who worshipped Me and did not associate anyone or anything with Me in worship. With them, the outposts were secured and the afflictions were warded off. One of them would die while his need is in his chest, unable to satisfy it. So the angels will go to them from every gate (of Paradise),) saying, (Salamun `Alaykum (peace be upon you) for you persevered in patience! Today, delivering on a major commitment in the President’s Climate Action Plan, the Obama Administration is unveiling the third U.S. National Climate Assessment—the most comprehensive scientific assessment ever generated of climate change and its impacts across every region of America and major sectors of the U.S. economy. The findings in this National Climate Assessment underscore the need for urgent action to combat the threats from climate change, protect American citizens and communities today, and build a sustainable future for our kids and grandkids. Developed over four years by hundreds of the Nation’s top climate scientists and technical experts—and informed by thousands of inputs from the public and outside organizations gathered through town hall meetings, public-comment opportunities, and technical workshops across the country, the third National Climate Assessment represents the most authoritative and comprehensive knowledge base about how climate change is affecting America now, and what’s likely to come over the next century. And, for the first time, to ensure that American citizens, communities, businesses, and decision makers have easy access to scientific information about climate change impacts that are most relevant to them, the U.S. National Climate Assessment is being released in an interactive, mobile-device-friendly, digital format on globalchange.gov/. Today’s announcement is a key deliverable of the Climate Action Plan launched by President Obama last June—which lays out concrete steps to cut carbon pollution, prepare America’s communities for climate-change impacts, and lead international efforts to address this global challenge. The Plan acknowledges that even as we act to reduce the greenhouse-gas pollution that is driving climate change, we must also empower the Nation’s communities, businesses, and individual citizens with the information they need to cope with the changes in climate that are already underway. Climate-Change Impacts in Regions across America: • Northeast – Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and District of Columbia: “Sixty-four million people are concentrated in the Northeast. The high-density urban coastal corridor from Washington, DC, north to Boston is one of the most developed environments in the world, containing a massive, complex, and long-standing network of supporting infrastructure. The Northeast also has a vital rural component.” Communities in the Northeast “are affected by heat waves, more extreme precipitation events, and coastal flooding due to sea level rise and storm surge.” (NCA Highlights: Northeast; NCA Highlights: Overview) • Southeast and Caribbean –Virginia, W. Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, S. Carolina, N. Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, and the Caribbean Islands: The Southeast and Caribbean region “is home to more than 80 million people and some of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas… The Gulf and Atlantic coasts are major producers of seafood and home to seven major ports that are also vulnerable. The Southeast is a major energy producer of coal, crude oil, and natural gas.” “Decreased water availability, exacerbated by population growth and land-use change, causes increased competition for water in this region. There are also increased risks associated with extreme events such as hurricanes.” (NCA Highlights: Southeast & Caribbean; NCA Highlights: Overview) • Midwest – Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin: “The Midwest’s agricultural lands, forests, Great Lakes, industrial activities, and cities are all vulnerable to climate variability and climate change.” “Longer growing seasons and rising carbon dioxide levels increase yields of some crops, although these benefits have already been offset in some instances by occurrence of extreme events such as heat waves, droughts, and floods.” (NCA Highlights: Midwest; NCA Highlights: Overview • Great Plains – Wyoming, N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas: The Great Plains region “experiences multiple climate and weather hazards, including floods, droughts, severe storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and winter storms. In much of the Great Plains, too little precipitation falls to replace that needed by humans, plants, and animals. These variable conditions already stress communities and cause billions of dollars in damage. Climate change will add to both stress and costs.” “Rising temperatures lead to increased demand for water and energy and impacts on agricultural practices.” (NCA Highlights: Great Plains; NCA Highlights: Overview) • Southwest – California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado: “The Southwest is the hottest and driest region in the United States. Climate changes pose challenges for an already parched region that is expected to get hotter and, in its southern half, significantly drier. Increased heat and changes to rain and snowpack will send ripple effects throughout the region… and its critical agriculture sector.” “Drought and increased warmi
