Lets look at the difference between WHOLE FOODS and ORGANIC FOODS. - TopicsExpress

Lets look at the difference between WHOLE FOODS and ORGANIC FOODS. Both whole foods and organic foods are far more beneficial for the body than the many processed foods containing chemicals and preservatives. The term whole food refers to any food that is as close to its natural state as possible for consumption. This means that the food is unprocessed and unrefined. Whole foods are free of additives and preservatives. When foods are processed, vitamins, minerals and fiber are lost during the process of making the food less healthy. Generally, coloring, preservatives and flavorings are added to food during processing. ALL of these things can negatively impact ones health. Whole foods are not processed nor do they have any of these unhealthy additives. Also, whole foods do not have any unnecessary added sugars and salt. The human body can handle breaking down NATURAL sugars and salt better than processed forms. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, seeds, milk, eggs, fresh meat, fish and poultry are examples of whole foods. If any processing or additives has occurred, then a food is no longer considered a whole food. Pasteurized milk is considered a whole food since the process of pasteurization is not considered an unnatural process. I DISAGREE, since pasteurization destroys ALL the enzymes and many of the NATURAL vitamins in the milk. ONLY RAW MILK, which contains all its natural enzymes and vitamins, should be considered natural. Organic foods will be covered in Mondays post. youtube/watch?v=6vQxYMDsvlI
