Lets not forget Sophias journey... Sophias story started here: Sophia was born Oct.12, 2012. She was born very sick because her mom was addicted to heroin and crack cocaine and drank a lot when she was pregnant with me. She never got any prenatal care and was born 5 weeks early. Her mom knew she could not take care of me and she was placed with her Uncle and my Aunt who were able to adopt Sophia with our help. This years benefit ride is to help Sophia with her ongoing medical issues due to being born addicted, as Sophia now suffers from two types of elliptic seizures complex partial and tonic clonic..w/ right side hemipaligic cerebral palsy. Sophia will be 2 yrs old in Oct. She is a bright lil girl who now struggles with everyday life. Sophia and her family have become my family and in my family we take care of each other... My riding family and extended family is growing daily and as a family we will continue to support and take care of each other!
