Liam is laying on the loveseat watching RV with the girls. Liam finished his antibiotics yesterday which he is very happy about. He hates taking medicine. After a long talk and a lot of soul searching we with Liams team have a game plan for Liam. Due to Liams first eye surgery not working and how we have always said it was about quality not quantity Liam will be going in on Thursday November 20th to once again try and repair what the chemo has damaged. It is a scary procedure and one that is horrific for any parent to have to watch their child go threw, but the pros out weigh the cons. Liam is having a hardtime seeing, then you throw in the headaches, and the increase in vomiting. We are just praying that this will fix it so Liam can get some relief. As with any surgery there are risks and with Liam always liking to throw monkey wrenches at us we are nervous. Following surgery barring no complications, Liam will be going threw a long 48 hours of of testing and scans on December 4th and 5th. When we made the decision for surgery we asked a lot questions, like for instance why didnt the first one work, should we have done or not done something different like eye exercises? We were assured it wasnt anything we did or didnt do, that a small percentage this happens too. We were also told to NOT doing any eye exercises as that can and will undo everything that are trying to fix. We felt better knowing that it wasnt our fault. The next weeks a head are going to be rough but we have faith that whatever happens we will get threw it as a family. With everything going on I hadnt had time to post a special thankyou to those that helped our last hospital trip. So to Trent, Loree, George, Verbena, Karen, Laura, and Michelle a very special thankyou from the bottoms of our hearts. I also received several emails wanting to know ways to help with what is upcoming for Liam and our family. Here are a few ways to help: We have our PayPal link that is at the top of his page. Walmart gift cards are great too as we can use them for groceries and gas. Or if you would just like to send something via mail you can send it to: The Myrick Family @ 216 Oak Street Houston, Mo 65483 Thankyou everyone for your continued prayers and support. ***NEGU***
