Liberty News Update Koko inu iwe tii Liberty PM NEWS(IORIYN ASALE) PLANE CRASH AVERTED IN SOKOTO A Saudi bound Boeing 747 jumbo jet crash was averted in Sokoko. The jet which belongs to Kabo Air was said to be having about 400 passengers on board. The jet had to make an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III international Airport when its tyres exploded immediately after take off. The jet left Kano Friday on it way to Saudi Arabia but diverted to Sokoto when the incident happened. More details soon Source: The Nigerian Gazette STILL ON AGAGU Agagu: NCAA Grounds Associated Airlines The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has announced the suspension of the operations of Associated Aviation following Thursday’s crash which killed 13 people out of the 20 passengers on board. The Director-General, NCAA Capt. Fola Akinkuotu, announced the suspension of all operations of the airline at the General Hospital Ikeja after paying a visit to injured passengers on Saturday. He said, “Associated airlines operations has been suspended by the NCAA.
