Life doesnt always go the way you want it to. Especially when a person is going through cancer or some other life threatening disease. Some days are, well, better than others. You cant really predict when its gonna be a good day or the other. In the back of your mind you tell yourself that this is almost over and maybe, just perhaps, this day will be better, possibly the pivotal turning point and you buoy yourself up believing this is all over now and then it all goes south. And so you set your sights on another day because you anticipate more days and a miracle or two that will change everything. Deb had a not so goodday. This sure makes you appreciate the times when life was a bit easier even though you whined about all your small problems as if they were life threatening, the end of the world kind...in retrospect they were so little in comparison to real life stuff like now. So we stayed home and Deb has gone to bed and God bless her for being so willing today to try to pull herself together and attempt to go and sit in the sunset with me on the pacific-but she couldnt quite get there. But shes wonderful and worth all this to me. Dont for one moment feel sorry for me...I am married to the most amazing, courageous woman on the planet....life is still good. Some things, no, many things are just on hold for now. There will be many more sunsets for us to view. And we will laugh together as we embrace in the evening air remembering how good God was to us in these temporary times.... Hang in there regardless of what you are facing or going through - Grace will give you all you need with extra left over to surmount every obstacle and a safe crossover into the blessing prepared for you. I believe this. ~ralphbrier
