Life for the Weathersbys is getting better each day!! Johnnys main Cancer Dr, came by and told us the new plan.....only, and I say that knowing how terribly hard chemo is, 57 more days of chemo!! Because he cant take the Methotrexate chemo anymore, they have replaced with a different chemo....it is tougher, but a much shorter time frame to get the same results. Now all of this depends on the pathology results, but this what he is anticipating. So instead of months and months of chemo...57 days. It will end right about the time Rehab will start! He can devote all of his time to getting better and stronger, with his new bionic leg! We got to see the x-rays of his leg and it looks like the terminator!! Think back how the terminator looked when it was just the robot parts, that is what is leg looks like on the inside! Very Cool!! He has been running a low grade fever for the past 24 hours off and on, they are continuing to treat with antibiotics and dont seem to worried, I am always worried, part of being a Mom!! PT again today and he was stronger than the day before, which is what we expect this fighter to do!! The Ortho Dr came and removed his drains from his legs, it was extremely painful for him, even with an epidural! Watching our son cry and writhe in pain was probably the hardest thing We have been thru yet! I can only imagine what is in store for him! We ask that your prayers be for pain relief for tomorrow, they are stopping the epidural. Worried is an understatement! I will keep you posted! Thank You for Loving Our Son and giving us ALL the support we so desperately need!! As Always and Forever....FIGHT FOR JOHNNY!!!!
