Linda and I crossed the Continental Divide and have stopped in Beaver Utah for the nite. We had really good weather for the drive, it was 41degrees at 11,000 ft. our highest point on the trip. The Colorado Rockies are beautiful this time of year, and are a stark contrast to Utahs desolate desert beauty. I would love to sleep in my hammock under the stars out here in the middle of nowhere. There is something about the desert that resonates with my soul. Tomorrow we head for North Las Vegas for 2 nites so we can see Hoover Dam and maybe the Grand Canyon as well. Love driving out here. The speed limit on I-15 is 80 mph...!
