Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Mortdecai the upcoming sleuth comedy about an eccentric British art dealer who is in charge of retrieving a priceless stolen painting. Mortdecai stars Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Goldblum, Oliver Platt, Aubrey Plaza, Olivia Munn, and Michael Byrne. The film is based on a 1970s series of The Great Mortdecai Moustache Mystery novels created by Kyril Bonfiglioli, this also marks a reunion between Depp and his Secret Window director David Koepp. Juggling some angry Russians, the British Mi5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold Mortdecai will be hitting theaters early next year, on January 23, 2015.
