Little Girl (#140645) has arrived! “I loved the long ride to get to my foster home- car rides just relax me. After I checked things out, I went into the crate on my own, but since the door was open, I could roam around; after a few days on concrete floors, I needed the carpet to scratch my back on. I like to snuggle, or at least lean against you, and KISS!!! I proved I am housebroken by not having any accidents last night- 8 hours is not too shabby for a mature though spunky (9YOA) gal in a strange place with different food. I haven’t met the resident dogs or cats or other foster dogs yet, but on one of my walks, there were these huge smelly things that I had to bark at to keep them from eating me. On another walk, we went in the woods and I was a little concerned with the smells and sounds, but I never pulled on my leash or refused to walk with FM; she said we’d work on the horses and woods so I would be comfortable. I really like to snuggle and FM thinks I might smile too, but I am going to make her work for it- for no reason other than to watch her make a fool of herself trying to get me to. Of course, I can look pretty ridiculous too when you scratch my belly or my butt.”
